Blacksmith leg vise

Great condition vintage blacksmith vise. Some people refer to these as a leg vise (leg vice) and some call it a post vise (post vise.) This type of vise is a must have for any hobbyist or blacksmith who needs to be able to quickly hold an object that needs to be bent or hammered on. The spring helps open the vise quickly and it doesn't take much turning to tightly clamp your object. The leg or post is meant to sit on the ground to help transfer energy from hammering into the ground.
